DALYAN
Dalyan
Welcome to Dalyan!
The journey on the Dalyan River is a true symphony of beauty and adventure. We start with a breakfast in a quaint location with a breathtaking view. Then our route leads to the famous Dalyan River, home of the largest turtles in the world, the Caretta Caretta, as well as the unique blue crabs.
Traveling by this winding river is a unique experience. The river is so sinuous that with every bend, you will find new wonders of nature: the city of Kaunos with its rock tombs seemingly hovering in the air, noted therapeutic mud springs, and of course, the Iztuzu Beach, where two seas, the Aegean and Mediterranean, meet each other. The water temperature is warmer than in other parts of the Aegean Sea, which makes swimming particularly enjoyable. The beach is equipped with all amenities, including sun loungers, umbrellas, and showers.
A delightful feature of this tour is the opportunity to catch blue crabs—a thrilling test of your luck. Both children and adults compete in agility and fortune. If you wish, for a small additional fee, you can try a delicacy made from crab meat. Another impressive moment is the encounter with giant turtles. You can feed them directly from the boat, take photographs, and, if you’re fortunate, catch them laying eggs on Iztuzu Beach.
